DSLD Homes purchased 118 residential lots Friday in Bellegrove Square, a planned development at the intersection of Burbank Drive and Bluebonnet Boulevard, for $8 million from Dantin Bruce Real Estate.
The lots are ready for construction and building will start once permitting is acquired, expected in the next 30 days, says Matthew Poche, head of land development at DSLD.
The Burbank region is a growing area with DSLD seeing ongoing demand, says Poche, for both LSU student living and well as single-family residential. tThe residential portion will eventually be a part of the Bellegrove Square mixed-use development, which will include office, multifamily and retail parcels
Homes in the development will sell for between $250,000 and $275,000, according to Property First Realty Group.
Brian Dantin and Ross Bruce first bought the property in 2019 from Mostafa and Donna Khosravanipour, who were represented in the transaction by David Trusty, of Trusty Commercial Property.
