DSLD Homes LLC has purchased 70 lots off Staring Lane for $4.9 million that will be part of the Willow Run subdivision, according to documents filed with the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court’s office.
The homebuilder currently has eight Willow Run floor plans for three-bedroom, two-bathroom homes, ranging from $271,000 to $296,000, posted for sale on its website. A message left with DSLD was not returned by this afternoon’s publication deadline.
DSLD purchased the properties from developer Dantin Bruce, which owned the land through its entity DB Willow Run LLC.
An application to develop the land into Willow Run was first submitted to the Planning Commission in December 2020 and was approved the following month in an 8-0 vote.
