Brian Dantin with Dantin Bruce Companies has experienced success in developing upscale student housing in close proximity to LSU. The company recently put together a site on East Boyd Drive for the construction of a 28-unit project, purchasing four lots totaling 46,800 square feet for $1.2 million, or about $25.65 per square foot. The seller was William Arthur Reich.
The complex, 333 Lofts at East Boyd, will have two- and three-bedroom units priced from $215,000 to $285,000. Interior amenities include loft ceilings with exposed air-conditioning ducts, and exterior amenities include a pool and fire pits. The facility will be gated.
“The success of Parker Place, recently selling units in the $250,000 to $260,000 price range, supported our decision to develop additional units,” Dantin says.
